  Tetrafix Carbon-Fibre Technology Drives Development of Brand New Electric-Vehicle

  Terafix, a leader in carbon fibre fixture technology, has secured the delivery of multiple carbon fibre fixtures to a fast-growing electric performance car brand. The measurement fixture, more than 90% lighter than its conventional counterpart, will significantly improve the productivity and repeatability in the customer’s measurement process, and drastically reduce the overall costs while meeting ever higher-accuracy demanded by the customer’s geometry assurance department.

  Welcome Tommy!

  We are pleased to announce the appointment of Xingyu Xiang (Tommy) as Project Manager at Tetrafix AB. Tommy will be responsible for the overall management of assigned customer projects.  He will lead the project team to meet timing, quality, finance and product requirements for Tetrafix and its customers.

  Tommy most recently worked as a Program Engineer at a global tier 1 supplier where he managed development of automotive hardware, engineering, testing, and applications. Prior to this position, Tommy worked for SKF and Instron. Tommy has a Master’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from University of Science and Technology of China.

  Tetrafix invests in new mobile measuring system.

  To meet higher production rates, Tetrafix raises the measuring capacity by investing in an additional measuring system .

  The new Leica AT 960 will give us highest possible accuracy on large-volume measurements such as truck cabs and body side panels.

  It will also extend the ability to do on sight measurements all around the world.
